新乡学院公共外语部成立于2008年7月，主要任务是负责全学院公共英语课程的教学任务。

原新乡学院公共外语部于2014年8月正式更名为新乡学院大学外语部。大学外语部下设1个办公室和4个教研室。现有教职工53人，其中副教授10人，讲师34人，有硕士学位的教师41人。大学外语部拥有一支学识渊博、充满活力的教学、科研队伍。教师业务素质高，知识面广，科研能力强，爱岗敬业，勇于创新，能熟练驾驭大学英语教学课堂。大学外部教师锐意进取，勇于探索新的课堂教学模式，坚持为社会培养高素质人才的理念，不断提高大学英语教学质量。

 

Brief Introduction of College English Teaching and Researching Department of Xinxiang University

College English Teaching and Researching Department, responsible for college English teaching in other 20 teaching faculties of the university, was established in July，2008.

The former College English Teaching and Researching Department of Xinxiang University was renamed as College English Department of Xinxiang University in August, 2014.The department consists of one office and four teaching and researching divisions. Among 53 teachers, there are 10 Associate Professors, 34 Lecturers,41 teachers have obtained a master’s degree . All the teachers are capable, knowledgeable, possessing high professional competence, extensive knowledge and remarkable research ability. They are creative, innovative, constructing a dynamic and enthusiastic teaching and researching team. They love teaching, dare to explore new ways and generate new ideas. They adhere to the notion of cultivating high-quality personnel for society and devote to exploring new teaching models to promote teaching quality.
